CHALLENGE
Develop an eye catching platform to promote the premiere of Warner Bros’ new movie, PAN and Sun-Maid raisins product through a cross promotional microsite and multi-level sweepstakes offering a chance to instantly win free movie tickets and be entered to win 1 of 3 grand prizes.
SOLUTION
- TRG used connections with Warner Bros. to develop and secure partnership
- Custom designed, responsive microsite and mobile site to engage consumers
- Consumers who registered were also entered in a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 2 main Sweepstakes prizes which included a trip to the New York PAN premiere OR a trip to Los Angeles for a private Warner Bros. Studio Lot Tour
- TRG managed all aspects of creative and web development, daily reporting, winner selection & notification, promotion legal and prize fulfillment
- Corresponding on-pack creative was applied to Sun-Maid box product to cross-promote the sweepstakes
- Promotional national FSI created and email blast sent to Sun-Maid database
- Instant movie ticket winners were sent a separate email with one valid code for one movie certificate redeemable for two movie tickets to PAN movie or any other movie at participating theatres
- TRG called on their partnership with Fandango to supply movie tickets & code links
RESULTS
- 800,000 entries over a 8 week period
- 5,000 pairs of movie tickets awarded
- Increase in social traffic for both Sun-Maid and PAN movie
- Lots of consumers were excited for their free tickets
- The main sweepstakes trip winners all enjoyed their package and travel
