CHALLENGE: Develop an engaging sweepstakes to promote Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Valentine’s Day.
STRATEGY + SOLUTION: TRG created a sweepstakes where participants can play a digital “Count The Kisses” game to be entered for a chance to win. Each entrant could select a video clip from one of Hallmark Channel’s Valentine movies and count the kisses in the video. They then would register and be entered for a chance to win a luxurious Sandals vacation.
- TRG managed all aspects of the sweepstakes website development and programming
- Participants could watch additional Hallmark Channel Valentine movie clips to count the kisses and earn and earn additional sweepstakes entries
- Email blasts were sent out to engage interest
- Analytics provided weekly
- TRG handled winner selection and prize fulfillment
RESULTS:
- Exceeded the goal of 5,000 entries which is amazing for a 3-week promotion
- Many participants viewed the videos an additional videos to gain extra entries
- Participation amongst the main female demo was very high
