Good Words at WOMMA Wine Wednesday

Good Words at WOMMA Wine Wednesday

It was a lovely night in Culver City in a lovely setting, as the folks at Threshold Interactive opened up their “backyard” patio so they and The Regan Group could host the first of, we hope, many L.A. “Wine Wednesday” events on behalf of the Word Of Mouth Marketing Association.

TRG’s own Patti Regan-Nelson, who sites on the Board of Directors for WOMMA, was a member of a panel of experts that included Jen Cressman of Nestle, John Montgomery and Avery Carroll of Threshold, and our own Michael Semer.  The topic?  “Who Wants to Be a Millennialaire?  Marketing in the Age of the Digital Native.”

A provocative and freewheeling discussion and Q&A explored the new challenges and opportunities presented in reaching into the minds, hearts and purchasing decisions of the Gen Y audience.  Good food, wine, beer and other refreshments were on hand, of course, and it was a sparkling evening of constructive conversation, networking and fun.  It’s the kind of event that makes this industry a pleasure, and expect more of them as TRG and its WOMMA partners help encourage idea and insight sharing within the L.A. marketing community.  We’re off to a good start.
